Learn to Fly

At Freedom Air Force, you will learn all about flying a Cessna 182-210, Jet Gliders, Viper Hawk (Gas Turbine Engine), and Ultra-Light Aircraft. Flight training varies depending on the school, the type of aircraft, the location and an individual's learning style.

There are many reasons why people learn to fly. Here are a few of the most common:

  • Freedom and flexibility. Learning to fly gives you the freedom to travel whenever you want, wherever you want. You're not limited by commercial flight schedules or routes. You can also take off and land at smaller airports that commercial airlines don't serve.
  • Adventure and excitement. There's nothing quite like the feeling of taking to the skies and soaring through the clouds. Learning to fly can be a thrilling and rewarding experience.
  • New skills and knowledge. Learning to fly teaches you a wide range of new skills, including navigation, meteorology, and aircraft systems. These skills can be valuable in both personal and professional life.
  • Sense of accomplishment. Learning to fly is a challenging but rewarding experience. The sense of accomplishment you'll feel when you finally solo or earn your pilot's license is unlike anything else.
  • Career opportunities. There are many career opportunities in aviation, from commercial piloting to flight instruction. Learning to fly can open up a whole new world of possibilities for your professional life.

Freedom Air Force is here to support you with the following programs.

The Homestead Program

The Homestead program is in the planning phase. The Homestead will have its own 6,000 foot airstrip and, YES, you will get the to feed farm animals before breakfast!
